We do not know how far and how exhausting your way to Oberammergau is.
We can only assure you: it's worth it! It does not matter if you are traveling by car, plane or train, the journey is quite easy.
And be sure: in our accommodation, even the most exhausting ride is forgotten in no time. For example in our wellness area.

Approach by car

Coming from Munich: Via the highway A95, take exit Murnau or follow the highway to its end in Eschenlohe. In Oberau turn right on to B23 to Augsburg and follow the mountain road directly into the Ammergauer Alps.
Coming from Augsburg: Via the B23 directly into the Ammergauer Alps.

Approach by train

Coming from Augsburg or Munich: Change train in Murnau to Oberammergau.
Alternatively you can leave the train in Oberau and take the public bus to Oberammergau

Approach by plane

Innsbruck: by car via the B11 to Mittenwald, on the B2 via Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Oberau and Ettal, Oberammergau or continue on to the train to Murnau. By train from Murnau, see above.
